Cigg Smell Burning Question

Postby notty electrical » Tue Aug 14, 2018 4:19 pm

Hello All,

I not long ago posted about a cigarette burning smell in the cabin I have a Limited T230 LWB 110bhp model, the smell comes and goes. Well it's due a service soon and I know there are different sizes of pollen filter for these so I thought i'd get the old one out today to measure it.

Turns out I don't have a pollen filter at all which is surprising as this particular transit is an ex NHS vehicle, silly question but can this be the possible cause of this smell and will/can this affect/damage the air con?

thanks

I have a 2005 T230 LX 90 LWB And it never had a pollen filter either - until i installed one! Didnt notice any difference with smell from the vents using the A/C or not, and with or without the filter, so the burning fag smell is a weird one mate!...
