found the wires for rear speakers and power socket with pics

ok found wires for rear speakers and power socket, you just need to put a 15 fuse in the fuse box behind glove box and buy a socket from ford plugs right in to make power socket (orange and black wires) work easy stuff ,the speakers are grey and black .

hi , have you got the part number and/or description of the rear power socket. i went to my local ford commercial dealer, and the parts guy looked as if i had just landed from mars when i asked him. any help??

dummies i just asked for power socket no problem came next day 8.50 all in its basically just a cigarette lighter i just cut a 25mm hole in the ply lining and fitted right in easy

Hi

The Rear Power socket is FINIS code 4395499 for 5/02-10/04 and appears to be FINIS code 1357349 10/04 on from the details i have been able to find and they are around £10+ vat from info i have received.

Rear speakers from ford are around £40 + vat and should come with the relevant spaker connection if required FINIS 4370985 upto 09/05.

Still haven't got round to looking for these in mine, but I've already got a 12v socket there which I plylined over temporarily, so presumably have the speaker wires there too

Good news for me too, as I'm just starting to plan stereo changes

just cut off the plugs for the speakers and you can fit anything you want ,i have made some boxes fitted to the ply lining on top of the wheel arches to take a pair of 6x9 mutant speakers that are a great price from a1 motor stores and sound good enough for me will change the door speaker at some stage .. i also fitted the power socket to the wheel arch box towards the back door

Sorry to drag this up.

Ordered a couple of sets of the speaker plug adapters off eBay the other day as had seen this thread, and wanted to to front and rear speakers.

Fronts are semi done (temp woofers from set of 13cm components in there atm lol) yet to decide what to do...

Then removed plylining to look at the rear, and started to get confused as I have the 12v socket already there, but there doesn't appear to be signs of speaker wires. Not just that, my loom runs across the top of the inner skin, whereas in the pics posted on here, yours seem to run along the bottom?

My vans an 04 plate Ex-BT "L" I'm wondering if BT have special spec vans? As it has the orange beacon switch in the front (genuine Ford part it seems) which links to a plug in the rear where the amber light used to be. I also have the 12v socket and 2 rear interior lights.

Anybody else in the same boat?! Any ideas on feeding further wires to the rear if needs be? And finally suggestions for front speakers please!

i think the rear speaker looms were only fitted in the lwb as it is used for thr mpv model
