I contacted a company up here in Scotland who can lower the connect for 400 all in, but they are only willing to change the front springs and re-profile the rear leaf springs. What they do is send your leaf springs off to a specialist who rolls them to make them flatter. they seem to think that the rear can only be lowered by about 2-2.5 inches, which in my opinion is not low enough....lol

They did also say that re-locating the leaf springs under the axle is not safe and that they would not be happy carrying out the work. This is why i decided not to go ahead. In the end i just ended up fitting a full s/s longlife exhaust with twin tailpipes! which im well happy with!

After the axle swap equiped with Peugeot partner shocks mounted as suggested by another Connect owner, Tecdoc Peugeot Partner gasschocks. Bud they where not a good much to the lowered suspention and/or the 19"/ low tire height. To tough or just to cheap ;-)

I have now mounted a set Monroe Senstrack schocks for Peugeot 405 87-96, a good match. A well balanced feel to keep the tires sturdy to the ground match the front suspension. Sporty and enjoy to drive on a small budget, the 405 is outdated, €50,-or less a pair.
