To be honest Im going to switch back to standard Amber bulbs, the Silvertech bulbs are a little dimmer than standard with the headlights being tinted.

cheers showroom-valet,makes a massive diffrence to the front of connects,looks good on white,mines dark blue,..i think im havin some of that ford fans, :wink:

any high temp paint will be ok.

I know on some cars when you split them apart the adhesive putty can be reused is that possible with hte connect head light or did you just decide to silicon?

I used plastic primer and Matt black plastic from Halfrauds, about £12 total.
I rubbed the chrome surround with a scotch bright pad to dull it a little giving the primer something to key onto.

wouldn't a generic nitro spray paint damage the plastic?

Not sure if it would damage the plastic, but you get better adhesion using plastic specific paints
