Have just bought one of these connects2 iPhone kits for my 6000 CD player

http://www.connects2.co.uk/ProductInfor ... x?id=11730

Just wondering if anyone has fitted one before and if I will still be able to use the controls on the steering wheel.
Cheers

Looking at doing this on mine this week going to buy the parts in a moment, did you get the fitting for the blank part with it and what did you do for it to fit there like that.

I bought this off eBay. It came with the tools to remove the unit. I dropped the lead down the side and under the centre console. It comes out by the handbrake. You just plug it into your phone/iPod and press 'AUX' on the CD player. It works great and only took about 5 mins to fit.

Having never made such an obvious mistake I've found that a vast selection of rubber grommets works well until one turns up

Could you tell me where you got one of those? I managed to snap off the fixing tabs on one of my blanking plates and need to get a replacement. Cheers.
