Swb - 91
Lwb - 95

So the figures in the original post are probably correct but the absolute minimum to be legal,

thats what i said and van weights hav'nt changed since 2002,so..................................
just need to get the sticky altered ,then it's a good sticky which will be very usefull

In view of this, i don't think we should be recommending a lower rating than Ford, so is it OK if I edit your original post, or if you want to revise it yourself, post it up in this thread, and I'll graft it into the first post :D

If we are gonna have a sticky about tyres we.may as well delete this one completely and do a more concise one but include the correct tyres sizes for different wheels, tyres pressures ect

thanks John

Doing 168 in a Conny certainly ain't legal... Slow down young man, slow down

i was told all tyres than go on a van must be c rated c for comercial eg 195/65/15c
comerercial tyres have heaver construction thicker side wall 3ply and usualy have a higher presure 35/65 psi and they take a heaver load ,under breaking they dont flat out with the road surface and cause concaving inwards loosing vital surface contact especaly on the front some 4x4 tyres can take the load and have 3 ply sides or even 5 ply but are a softer compound and only last a short time all that said i dont think alloys make any difference as long as you have the correct tyre .alloy lighter and pulls the heat away from the disks so should save fuel .

Depends what the load rating is on the tyre.
