I'm here today to let others know that there is hope on the horizon for 2014- current TC owners to install larger wheels on their van. I've been in contact with another TC owner here in the states that has just done this to his van:
What you're looking at is this 2015 TC has 18x9 ROTIFORM VCE Monoblocks with 205/40/18 tires.. This may not be so important to those viewing.. what is important to me and many others like me,, is the suspension he used to lower (or raise) the van. This is one smart kid, he cross referenced a few parts and found a manufacture who made a coil over system which he installed on the van.
The issue is here.. is that the manufacture had no clue that this kid simply added this coilover to his van. Even the shop he purchased this coilover system from had no clue what this kid was doing.. Lucky for us, this system can be raise or lowered.. (static, not bagged) and for all those who want to actually raise their TC's.. we''l keep you posted just to see if the manufacture changes their view on this coliover system and to include it for Ford Transit Connects.
Hello,
We currently do not have a coil over kit for this car, nor do we intend to manufacture one at this time. We have contacted the owner and he confirmed what we already suspected. He used one of our Ford kits to make this setup work. I do not advise that this setup be used on your car, since the rear set up in those images do not actually fit the car.
Thanks,
