did'nt start out with a dmf so euro parts are guessing

I know, I've just been on the phone to someone who only does clutches and he was surprised as he's done loads of these connects with smf and mine comes up on his system as having a dmf......anyway I had the van in idle and put it up to 1500 revs and it starts running rough as if it has a misfire but there is no smoke and no engine light and clears(if not gets better) when I put the revs up this must rule out injectors,dmf and driveshaft.
So must be the inlet manifold or fuel filter right?

He even said that it's coming up with a smf conversion kit for around £100 extra

And the holding back/running rough is worse in 2nd and 3rd gear but gets better in 4th and as if it's gone or unnoticeable in 5th

Ok so these definatly dont have a dmf lol im now thinking fuel filter or clutch problem, gonna get her serviced and go from there

Hi Guys,

Just joined FTF as I was interested in this thread as I have the same fault on a 2013 90ps model. So far I have changed the fuel filter and replaced the EGR valve (motor part as during investigation the actual valve is clean and operates correctly). Ford IDS system shows no fault. My problem appears to be worse when cold however. I wonder if I could ask if anyone has got to the bottom of it? My van has a 70mph speed limiter fitted in case that makes any difference.
