I used this stuffhttp://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/like/28135865 ... 0&ff14=108

Basically thoroughly clean the surface with detergent and a scotch pad then apply a thin coat and just build it up from there, about three coats should give a good coverage. I then gave it a thin coat of spray dye from Halfords just to get an even finish :-)

Cheers mate, might give that a go

Been a month of good and bad

The bad being being my gearbox giving up the ghost and it taking 7 hours to get home on the back of 4 lorries, still, i think it was the original box with £167k on it so to be expected
Image

The good,
had my new dash fitted
Put some flashing tape down before fitting the carpet, will do the same to the roof when thats ready to go up. Super quiet
Image
Image

removed my st220 wheels recently (forsale section soon) and fitted some genuine transit connect wheels
Image

[/img]
Finally, today got round to fitting a roof lining, chopping the old ply up was the bit hit and miss but not bad for a first attempt. Just need to carpet the ply and refit my rear speakers/LED lighting

here goes and here is the beginning of my project I bought the van like this and as a none runner

Image

Image

after a day or two of diagnosing the fault and getting a another bonnet it was all up and running sweat as a nut and down for its mot only to fly straight through it

Image

after its mot I decided to get it colour coded while the bonnet was getting painted :)

Image

now I couldn't resist it being like that so got some temporary alloys and got it all stickered up with some chrome side steps just to add that final touch

what do you think guys

I use to have 16's on mine but just changed to 18's so I'd suggest 18's

Just in the muiddle of swapping to winter tyres. I have a spooky feeling that I left the summer alloy centering ring on as two alloys are missing the ring and one wheel was really difficult to tighten.
