Yes because it still lives in the same concrete garage (possibly a bit damp) and the van is used about three or four times a year, so next year it is the same.

The a/c doesn't work anymore either due to lack of use.

For A/T tires I'd have to go up in size more than I wanted.

nokivasara wrote:Looked at new tires, thinking of getting 195/70-15 C tires, maybe they fit me better, I drive a lot on gravel roads and the tread wear on normal tires is quite shocking.
Seems to be bigger selection of coarser tread patterns too on the C tires.

I bought a set of 195/70-15C and am very happy with them so far. Looked at Nokian, Hankook and a few others before I found Falken tires that had the old-school tread pattern, I think that's better for dirt roads than the modern "slicks with 2-3 rain grooves in the middle".
They are 20mm taller than stock size and look better on the van, I got 10mm extra ground clearance too, which is always nice on rough roads :D

It's perfectly legal, they are 3% larger in diameter and you're allowed to go up 5%. At least here, but I think it's the same in the EU.
The speedo is more accurate now, at 80kph indicated the GPS shows 77.

So far I've fitted:
Mondeo titanium heated/cooled seats.
Steering wheel recovered with red stitching.
Matching new handbrake and gear gaiters with red stitching.
Painted centre parts of console in gloss black.
Changed led's on doors and light switches to red. Instrument cluster is now red/white.
Mondeo internal chrome door levers.

RS black side repeaters.
Gloss black front grill.
Gloss black front & rear skid plates.
US / euro style door mirrors.
Colour coded both bumpers and arches.
Gloss black RS 18" wheels.
Chrome twin exhaust tail pipe.
Have a couple of other things waiting to be fitted

Finally got her lined out today, so can now start designing the rear interior, as I now have dimensions to work to. Once drawn up and dimensioned, back to the lining company, who will make up the bed box bases and drawers, etc. Will have a rear (outside) hob slide out and hole for plastic sink. Front bed base will have a drop side accessed from offside sliding door for Porta Potti.
