Did this a few weeks ago
As iam in to radio stuff I fitted a HF Ham radio (bit like a CB but lots better) it had a split power system fitted in so I modified it with a 200Amp relay and some 40Amp cable to a mobility scooter battery via a 50Amp fuse mounted near the main battery I also installed a A/V meter just to keep a eye on things along with a Ext speaker and a remote head SWR/PWR meter
I won the Kenwood meter on eBay for £25 it needed a squirt of contact cleaner on the calibrate VR the it worked a treat
Ext speaker eBay £5 it came off a Royal Navy boat that was being chopped up in Scotland
Relay also off eBay for about £10 and yes the V/Ameter from Hong Kong £3.50 eBay the cable I liberated from a job on a solar farm last year should handle upto 50-60Amp

Ext speaker Image

Relay for split charge and shunt for V/A-meter

Remote head SWR/PWR Meter

I added a ATU and antenna that I got off eBay ICOM AH2-ATU & AH2b-ANT

Antenna mount

Some Spring mounts so you can see how big it is

ATU mounted to the bulkhead

Huge whip

Most people like gardening and doing other strange things I like to sit on my arse listing or even talking on the radio bit like old form of BookFarce

Naturally. I had a W900 Matchbox model as a kid, saw it somewhere at my Mum's house just recently, almost destroyed by numerous generations playing with it.

hi guys!

does someone of you have some experience with or without rear silencer exhaust sistem?

mine has original just middle silencer, but I found this on ebay In it is not very expensive.

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... :3160#shId

I'm just afraid that it would lose some power if I put sistem with two silencer...

Cleaned it inside and out, took it for an MOT
Passed with a couple of minors that can wait till the winter is here.
Rear brake pipe corrosion
Ball joint cover grease tight but deteriorated
Drivers seatbelt stitching slightly frayed.

Not bad for 105,000 miles

I have just replaced mine for its MOT its a 07 lwb and that has just the one middle box and tail pipe Price from the motor factors including new gasket and u bolt and exhaust paste £78 and it looks like quality steel ie nice and thick stuff. Sometimes its best to shop around with a couple of calls to your local suppliers.

Got my first FTC (she's old..) recently... so removed the nasty & heavy roof ladder & the roof appeared all green. Next I cleaned it nicely and shines like new :-) Engine parts in post atm so looking forward to it.
