Yes it is still close, although the second pic (from last year with the old door) is a bit deceptive with the angle of the camera)

There is about 1/2 an inch now above the spoiler to the rubber seal around the new door frame.

Just need to find a shorter aerial now. Seen a retractable one on e-bay.

After taking a large pile of hedge trimmings to the tip (i swear, the trimmings half filled my TC load area) i had to give it a good clean out to get rid of as many spiders and snails as i could (so many it wasn't even funny), and gave it a wipe down inside, and a wash outside. So while i was at it, i'd have a look and see if i could see what was wrong with my sliding side door lock, it hasn't been working for a few months. So i took off the wood panel on the door and peeled the plastic seal thing off so i could have a feel about.
Not enough space to actually get a look, so i had to make do with 2 pictures using my phone, and a feel about. The actual door handle (at least the interior one) didn't feel like it was connected to anything, and i could t feel anything that seemed like it should be connected to it.

Very frustrating. But at least its not too big a problem, i mean i rarely used the side door anyway... but it's still bothering me

mine did the same a year ago, the dead lock failed to release which is why my interior handle felt weird, to free it I parked next to a wall and put my back against it and put my foot on the door and applied pressure to the lock/contact areas, then locked and unlocked with the fob and it cleared it up

Not sure what was causing it, at least if you get the thing unlocked you can remove the the power supply for the door and just manually lock it as and when you need to use the door. Hope that could be of some use

Got mine to refit after a failed attempt to fit a Mondeo steering wheel. Just had the stitching redone in white.
