Transitmania 9 @ Santa Pod - Sat 23rd to Sun 24th Sept 2017

All Camping together in the field next to the medical centre 'bankside' of the track. It's next to the toilet block too. Gates open as said above at midday on the Friday. Sadly there is no field opposite Pod though for Thursday night camping.

Think its by the first set of buildings that you come to on the right. The viewing bank is right there on the left side of the strip as you look at the satellite image.

Looking at coming down, can't decide whether to do the 1 day or camp, what generally occurs at the event?, if do a single what days best ?, I presume they'll be plenty of santapod stuff going on also ?..

Sat morning, some of us get up in the morning and some midday more getting to know folk and showing their vans etc, some helping out and working on vans in the pit stop tent.

Then Karl wakes up

Sunday, more people arrive and we do the show and shine.

Thursday night.... ......apparently there is a field opposite that the owner allows people to camp the night before events for a few shekels (I heard a fiver a tent/van).....failing that.....the nearest big lay by.......(I'll get pissed anywhere) then into santa pod as early as they'll allow.......

Let me know if going Thursday Gaz and ill meet up and we can try and find a curry house and there's got to be somewhere to park up for the night
