Northern convoy ?

Any of you northern members travelling down on the Friday?? Maybe we could meet up somewhere and go down in convoy??

I'll be going accross the M62 to the M1 and can meet anywhere :) My wife will be following me down in the car with the beer in the Fridge 8) 8)

I expect i'll be setting of from here at around 12 ish.......... so i would be on the m1 by about 1-1.30 i reckon. Dunno where to meet up......... anyone got any ideas??

count us in for the friday convoy, we should be ready for lunch time :roll:, I'll be setting off about 2pm ish, you'll probably catch me up as I'll be cruising down( like I have a choice :lol: :lol: ), unless we end up with a meeting point :wink:

Just had a look on the map........... how about 1st meet at Wooley edge services just north of jct 38 M1 ( Barnsley ) and a second stop at Woodall services just south of jct 31 ( Sheffield )........and even a 3rd stop at Tibshelf services south of jct 29....... the more the merrier. Lets sort some approx times out guys :)


I won't be blasting it down as the wife is a newish driver............ and she is following in the Passat.. :mrgreen: So i gotta take it easy :D

if theres only me meeting at tibshelf then don't bother stopping just for me, if you all roughly know what time you'll be passing j29 I can make sure i'm in the area to either catch up or slow down, I'll be having my cb and pmr radios onboard if anyones using them on the way down :wink:

we are travelling down from Merseyside, dont know what way to go yet but we know we are going early Friday morning,because we are towing a caravan down too. Any ideas best way to go from Birkenhead ? :?
