Leisure Battery

Hi

Totally new to this forum. I have a 2007 Motor Home conversion, there was a leisure battery under the seat which was a 94 amp hrs. It went dud but the onlyone I could find in a hurry ( Halfords) that fitted under the seat was a 65 amp hrs. The problem is it lasts about 2 hours and its a real pain. Anyone know anywhere I can get at least a 95amp that will fit under the passenger seat?

Try Five Star Batteries in leeds , and if you want a proper battey get a GEL One, most of the UK Leisure batteries are made in Turkey by a company called Innasaku who are reknowned for putting bigger Ampage stickers on smaller batteries

or just get another 65ah one and put it under there as well, then you'll have 130ah total so about 50% more than you had before

A question about the leisure battery on the 2006 ford transit, on mine it's been swapped to a normal cracking type battery.
My question is - is the charging circuit in the ford transit that has the second battery actually able to charge a deep cycle leisure battery correctly?

And has anyone connected a second deep cycle leisure battery in parallel to this battery, I am thinking in a battery box approx 2m away or under the passenger seat

I have a camper van, and in my split charge system both batteries (crank and leisure) are effectively connected in parallel when the relay is engaged (engine running), and it works fine, so I don't see any problem with it. They both charge in the same manner.

hi in my camper its a slit charger system ive put a extra leasure battery in so i now have 2 leasure batterys and the van battery on ,and all 3 charge good
