had a look on top and found a load of silicon over a hole.
Beacon thinks I, cleared silicon away only to find an impact fracture ,and a 1" hole.
It looks as though some one had driven into a low bridge or something
First get wife to help from inside to brace damaged area.
upside down planter with sweeping brush on top and a piece of wood all wedged to spread the load.
Repair as follows ground back top gel coat over a 6" area then used glass fibre p38 type of filler.
THEN IT RAINED AGAIN
Just got to sand down a bit then a thin cover of filler sand and paint.
TROUBLE now is the roof inside is carpet lined and the water getting in has fetched the carpet away in some area`s.
I dont want to remove carpet to do repair ,and wondered it there was a spray glue with an extension nozzle.
I could then do a little KEY HOLE surgery .
thanks for reading
any ideas welcome.
