I need a measurement please

Postby Louey » Tue May 07, 2013 11:46 pm

Hi

Been a while since I've been on here my conversion is nearly done. Last bits to do are the lining carpet and completing the toilet/wetroom.

For the toilet I want to put a roof light in but not sure if I have enough room. The whole van is lined and the toilet is pretty much built apart from lining the walls and plumbing in the gas boiler. Can someone please measure the distance from the back of the van to the forward edge of the rear most roof brace and from that to the next one.

Hope that makes sense. I can't see an of the struts due the walls and ceiling being lined. Mine is a 2003 LWB Hiroof

If you look up on the roof, you should see faint dimples where the flanges are spot welded to the roof panel.

I'll get the steps out at the weekend and have a look - I'll probably need to jetwash the roof first, I think it is green instead of white.

Thanks for that

Couldn't see any dimples - though the roof does need a wash. Anyone able to take an interior message please?

Thanks for the idea though
