Will one of these do to replace a zig unit as im not bothered about a built in battery charger, zig units are expensive and all i want is a main control unit where all my apliances are fused and can be switched on and off which is just what a basic zig unit does isnt it? Any other options please

Hi mate.. as i said in your other post.. use a caravan as the donor,, you get cupboards bed and electrics , cooker hob sink shower bog,, and everything for a monkey ,,you know it makes sense

I dont need a lot now mate and im up for the challenge of making my own units i supose, i have most other parts now, ive just done away with a caravan i could of used but made more dosh selling complete and has give me a bit of flexibility over what i buy, thanks tho mate if i was doin a more in depth camper i would take your advice at the drop of a hat lol

Hi there,

This may be a bit radical, but I couldn't see why I would need a Zig unit, or anything like it.

I have a row of fuses which feed everything 12v

The main feed to the fuses from the leisure battery has a switch in it.

The Hook Up feeds the Ctec leisure battery charger and the (compressor) fridge changes to mains when it detects a supply.
