what is my van?

Postby brewyn » Thu Jan 29, 2015 3:31 pm

bought an x disabled coach that is huge, has 6 wheels, mostly fibre glass body, has only 1 seat up front, has a storage hatch on the outside (both sides), it looks like a breeze block on wheels, any ideas on what model transit it might be? looking at fitting a roof rack on the top but it has no supports so hoping if I can establish what van it is I might be able to get a better idea on how others have managed to fit one. I have a roof rack already from a transit but my van is fibre glass and has no fixing points, I've ripped out the interior lining so I can get some idea where the strengthening bars are.

any help or link will be appreciated, I'll add a pic once I get the chance :)

If it's a coach built then the chance of getting a ready made roof rack is very low!

Post some photos of the van and it's roof and maybe somebody might have some suggestions

What's the reg number?

It sounds like you have a chassis cowl, basically the floor and bulkhead, with running gear attached, and everything else added by coach builder
