Try putting reg number in dvla web mot checker see if it’s ever had a mot or ring dvla every campervan I’ve had as been mot if it’s still registered as ambulance it is possible that it does not have one

Campervans need MOTs

An ambulance that has been converted to a campervan, is a campervan not an ambulance.

Neither ambulance or campervan are mentioned as exempt here, which is where I would look first for a definate answer.

If I remember correctly, ambulances come under the special types group, as do hearses. Neither need an Mot, but only when they are being used for the intended purpose by people in the correct industry, and need the correct documented servicing to qualify, ie our hearse needs an Mot because neither the wife or I are undertakers and we don't go to funerals unless invited. I've seen plenty of ads on ebull saying that the hearses or ambulances being sold on as conversion projects don't need Mot's, it's a load of ebull.

Campervan/ Motorcaravan class 4 MOT.
Had mine done yesterday.
And it passed.....

As a bynote, I took my Minibus (Campervan in conversion)
to the same MOT station last year
The guy asked me why there were no seats in it.
I said because I'm converting it.
He changed it form a Class 5 to Class 4 because it was no longer a minibus
So even if it's on the V5 as a Bus or Ambulance it could still be classed as a Motorcaravan according to the MOT station
