Headliner change - Remove shelf

Postby Bernd2 » Thu Apr 25, 2024 4:01 pm

Hi camper crew
I am owner of a newer Ford Transit which I would like to convert into a camper (here in Switzerland)
The vehicle's headliner have a shelf in the driver's area is currently pulled down relatively far (I am a 2m man :D ). Since I would like to use this area as a headroom,
I would like to remove this and replace it with a headliner one of the Transit Minibus (attention H3 /Extra high roof ).

Some Ford manufacturer in my country of Switzerland don't know the correct article number because I have an airbag on the side.

Did you know the article number of your Headliner ?? can you send me the number ??

or if is the original headliner inside can you send me the chassis number then I can eventually find the article number

Thank you very, very much for any answer

Bernd

There are lots of different part numbers...

https://catalogs.ssg.asia/ford/?lang=en ... EzNw%3D%3D

You'd need the one of a M1 or M2. Mine is a Kombi with the headliner you want but sadly for you is a H2...

i did a shelf for mine haha

Hi Bernd,

Just remembered I have a friend who has a 2022 (Only some numbers away from mine) L3H3 that has the headliner.

I can write you his VIN so you can search the part number at the dealer, altought maybe (Probably) it will be very expensive...

Cheers,

David
