Let there be 'SUN'LIGHT

Id like to get some light into my MK6.
There is a 'sunroof' shape roof panel at the rear.
I Dont want a caravan type vent as id like to keep the roof profile, SO Im thinking sunroof/window ( dont mind if its none opening ) not fussy about size either.
Has anyone done this /similar, if so what product/company/donor glass did you use. Have you had probs, does it work ?
i have flettners either side of it, but id be looking to have a pro cut a hole That size

Still looking/thinking/debating
nearest i've found to my 'ideal' is a 'roof hatch' on ebay.item https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/270955977761. though Not ideally, it's £120 new
The other snag is it measure's 53cmx53cm, which is fine width wise, but measures very close (too close )??? to the sunroof 'shape' stamped on the roof, so i feel i would have to seek advice before buying.

What about just glueing a but of toughend glass over it same as a bonded window? A local glass dude can sort the glass out you only need a hole and some glue

Aye that would do me you think it would work ? would hate to decapitate some biker 'coz me sunroof had come unglued

I wouldn't worry too much about decapateing a dirty biker
I don't see why it wouldn't work that glue on a bonded window kit is good sh*t you get a black primer in it for round the edges too so you can't see the glue through the glass I glued my roof vent in with it too
I think the glue kits about 15 quid I had a bit of toughend glass made last year 30 quids for 90x60 cm 6mm I think
The bonded window glass is about 4mm thick
