If you're parked up and sleeping in your skiddies why bother opening the door to the police? Let them wait until the morning.

Me being an IAM observer has nothing to do with any of this - why should it?

Would the IAM stand by someone in court because one of their senior observers told the world that there was "no risk" involved in sleeping on the back seat of your car while pissed?

I'm going to get myself a pedal lock..... that way I can fit that before I go out... and there's no way I can drive it when I get back with that on...

I can give the key to a mate.... or hide it in the van and tell anyone who asks I gave the key to a mate....

I've never had a drop to drink if I'm going to drive, I won't be driving until well into the next afternoon just to make sure... and there's plenty of times I've been out with mates drinking and drunk coke all night because I've got work early the next morning...

I don't think you are supposed to have the keys at all, even in a cupboard, you could still take the keys and drive, that's why people leave them with mates/barman etc
