Almost to a point where I can leave and be happy with it, although lots more work until it is 100% finished.

So this is how the van looked when I left for France. Now I am finally enjoying it after a stressful few months building.
It isn't finished, I still have lots to do but it is quite usable now. Electrics, water, gas etc all in place.

Built an extra storage area. No door though, the table top will be stored over when not in use, effectively closing it off.

A couple of storage bits and pieces. A few things from Ikea and also something my Wife knocked up quickly from left over fabric.

It is looking good. just a thought- I might of considered putting the sink-hob over to the one side and had some lift up steps to the bed. the space under the steps could be used as a cupboard to replace the existing. Just thinking about the possibility of falling out of bed one morning and onto the hob-sink lids. not to mention the complaints from the ladies who need to get up for a pee every 5 minutes.

How did you sort our the problem with the roof window? I got a similar problem with my van.. My roof has 2 "ribs" that are higher than the middle section, so I'm not sure if this can work with a window bigger that the middle section so 70x2cm of free space underneath. How did you solve that?
