Hey guys just thought id put a few pics up.... this is my '99 mk5 diesel its the first van i have owned and i wanna convert it to a CAMPER/DAYVAN so any pointers or advice will be much appreciated :D im looking at making it old school exterior i.e marker lights, porthole windows etc.... not really done much at the mo apart from fit all new lock barrels and a sliding door that actually closes and does not have 'wall rash' :P will post my progress as i go
as i brought it..

Got all the wood today to sort out the back... I'm struggling to work out if I should make benches that change to a bed or just build a bed?? It's swb so more room the better I guess :?

Tried to find pics of other peoples for ideas but not really had much luck... Any thoughts would be appreciated thanks

Yes ok caught out :D I was unsure about a toilet until I saw alex's and works ok that design uses the space well

painted dash and fitted a decent stereo also changed steering wheel for a shirt button :P :P

Nice work m8,

iirc that stereo is a sony cdx- something and is 50w x4 with remote - I had 2 of those and absolutely loved them unfortunately left the last 1 in the bmw that I sold :roll:

like the dash too 8)

neil have you used yours yet ive still never tried mine out ,gonna tax it in the next couple of weeks and get away somewhere to try it all out :)
