Back box or trailer

I have a mk5 and I use uk , Irish and French ferries , problem is storage the trailer I have is great for the extra storage but it costs money on the ferry
My option is to sell the trailer and buy a box for the back of the van
Problem is can I find a box or carry system that will take a box and two bikes
Any help appreciated

They'll just charge you for the extra length of the van, so you may not gain anything.
( Night xings on the train are cheap this year & length isn't an issue)

Well I just bought a Thule easy base and a 940 Thule box ,and I am now going to get a bike carrier that will carry two bikes above the box hanging from the rear doors

take out the passenger seat and make the lady sit in the back.
