Zig cf9b charger unit

Postby transitambulance » Fri Apr 26, 2013 11:47 am

I have a zig unit which I have wired in to my ambulance camper. I would like to know if because I don't have a fridge can I use the fridge plus and minus terminals as another power output for say an inverter or aux plug? And are the relays only needed for the fridge because it is high power consumption thanks for reading dave.

I'll qualify this by saying I don't own a Zig of any type, but I think the fridge + &- terminals are only live when the engine is running but as long as you know this I cant see any problem provided the load does not exceed the rating of the relay.
