Fiamma wind out awning are the most common or if you are on a budget Fiamma caravanstore awning and fit a caravan rail to the side of your van. Second hand wind outs are around £250 for a 3mtr one or caravan store around £100 second hand.simple to fit and like me,... Up in seconds with a bit of fiddeling.

Cheers for that honey monster - yeah anythin that goes up quick wiv bit fiddling must b good haha.

Ill have a look at those Fiama roll down / up awnings but,
I'm thinking more the kind of awning though that's like a tent ( think they called-drive away or driveway awnings ) set them up, they zip to or use straps to throw over the van roof to attach them but then you can detach them, they remain standing and you can drive the van away to go do stuff an then come back an re-attach again later.

Anyone else?

I was in the market for a driveaway awning last year, kept my eye on Ebay etc and one Sunday, my wife was trading at a boot sale.
I drifted along a little later.
As I was walking along the lines of booters, I saw a large bag etc and another bag and written on a piece of card..."driveaway awning Excellent condition" £65!!
It was a "just kampers spacemaker". I didn't have any money on me...(wasn't expecting to find one there)! The folk showed me the pics of it erected on his phone and even showed me a tiny tear at the base, which he repaired.
The upshot of it is, that we got it for 50quid (only money my wife had on her)and it's a driveaway 6 berth which to buy new would be £225 + !!
It pays to keep yer eyes open. :D

We bought a driveaway. Stops people nicking your pitch when you go out for the afternoon!

Picked ours up off eBay for £100 - almost new.
