My conversion

Postby greedy007 » Sun Jul 12, 2015 8:05 pm

Hi All, Previously owned a mk3 Luna conversion but really got fed up with the non turbo banana engine plus it was not comfy to sleep in no slide door etc etc etc so i decided to build one to suit my needs (70% dayvan 30% camper)

Due to my business i know van dealers and found my 2008 2.2 swb at tradervan (essex) would really recommend speak to these guys if your going to do the same, Ex kelly communication van with a full and comprehensive service, A little up on the miles but that does not bother me A. its a transit B. i will only do low miles C. it is limited so i know it has not been ragged.

Right on with the conversion. remove all the existing boarding and bulkhead, insulate, fit a window, Fit a roof vent, Build frame to fit a shorty king size mattress, Fit a 4th seat fit electrics and carpet. SIMPLES (not really lol) still to fit water table and microwave and she's ready to be called a campervan

Pics Below and PS i am not a professional never done half of the work needed, Just made it up as i went along and myself and the family are loving it :-)
