Would a standard Ford fuel pipe fit onto the fuel pick up.

The pickup pipe itself is very small but has a bung so seals itself to the port sticking up. You could fit some pipe straight over the top of the port and that would then be sealed over the pickup pipe too.
Not sure what size ford fuel pipe is, but a rubber joining piece bit thingy could do the job?
Hope this helps

I was thinking a standard pipe off a mondeo fuel sender/pickup from a scrap yard, a fiver I would guess, rather than spending that much on new fitting.

If they use the same clip then I suppose it'd work. The auxiliary port pickup pipe is very narrow though and may need the proper part?

hi, i know this is a very old post but wondered if anyone did successfully fit their heater under the van ?
i am planning on fitting mine but do not know where to fit it or where to run the ducting as i will be fitting swivel seats so it cannot run under the seats.
any ideas ?

I’ve got one in my Mk7,wouldn’t of thought the Mk8 is much different chassis wise.
Mines fitted behind my Drivers seat as there’s a nice void underneath the van where you can fit the pump etc etc.
The void is where the fuel tank filling neck would be should the van have the fuel tank on the opposite side to where it is.

I've got a MK5 transit nugget, which has a eber D3l fitted from when it was built.

The eber is located under the floor behind the sliding door entry, there's a metal U shaped bracket and it's mounted inside of it.
The intake is in the upright section of the passenger step (But i'm dutch, so that'd be the driver step in UK terms :) )
The heater output ends up somewhere in the floor in the mid section of the van.

Hope this is of help.
