factory window in door a small window here to allow air flow over bed when done, have to insect screen these yet

Hi guys thought time for a progress report.
Walls and ceiling insurlated,
Ducting for fridge, ranghood plus wiring.
Lined as in pics.
Also prefitting joinery .

Not bad! :-))))...reminds me of a VW transporter specialist conversion that was about a couple of years ago....I believe it started at about 55,000 though...Pounds, not Aus Dollars....so I suppose that would be about 150,000 then?! ;-)

Wow, what an awesome mod. love it - I'm looking forward to the next update.
The slide out on the right hand side - wanting to mod my own transit in the same area and thought the horizontal frame at that location would have to stay to maintain some stiffness. You've cut a hole straight through to accommodate the slide - did you add any framing around the hole to further stiffen the cabin?

yes if you have a real close look at the inside pics i folded up 3m right angle and shaped it to the out side wall to give it regidity also had to 50x50 x3 box over the top of the hole to engineers requirements.
Other than that all the seal tracks made out of .9.
Hope you have patients took a lot of hours,.

well thought it time for some update pictures, last I tried to load didn't work so see how we go this time.
mainly joinery stuff, but have made some spare wheel carriers for the back but they not fitted now so when they are ill try and post those as well.
hope you can get some idea whats happening.

with slide out not using the back door hinges made up some spare wheel carriers they will be locked in the center when the locking system arrives
