Iirc there was a double swivel kit for the transit on eBay but I can only find these when I had a quick look.

The swivel seat is an expense (£250) addition but its well worth it...

Im going to have a proper look into this. One of the last things (hmmmm) i need to do to my van is sort the swivel seat but at £300 for the swivel and £10 for bolts that looks like a good idea to me. I'm going to take a look tomorrow.

Thanks timoat

Cheers

Looks like a great idea on paper.

However, I would be hugely concerned about whether it is safe or not. I'm have used these handles for years on toolroom machinery, and know from experience that they can fail - usually the handle snaps off or the "nut" breaks away from the handle.

I wonder if they would withstand the load and not just rip off in the event of a crash - they are NOT really designed to be used in this way.

You really would not want your passenger seat and passengers heading out through the windscreen.

I will be travelling solo, and might have the seat permanently switched round. I don't know if there holes line up though. In any case, I don't see why they wouldn't be any more secure than with regular bolts, as they come, provided that all the points are secure of course. Any updates?

Silly question you don't visit Winsford by any chance? I only ask as occasionally there is a van very similar to yours that parks up at the top of road near me with the same or similar graphics. N
