MK7 SWB Conversion Finished (almost)

Hi Guys,

After 5 years (not full time) and loads of help from the internet including you guys here our van which looked like this (after we had the high top fitted)

and now looks like this:-

With just a few bits of decorating left.

But the exciting news is our V5 looks like this:

Yes.

Got it from Argos it's made from plastic, so a little flimsy but does the job.

It's designed for a full size house door but was easy to cut to get the correct height and it has little tiny screws holding the slats in place, so I was able to reduce the width also.

Hi,

The High top was fitted by Leisuredrive (they do loads of VW conversions, but they seem to have stopped doing Transits).

It cost me about £900.00 (and was done in a day with free loan car) but you need to get in touch with them to see if they still do it.

Hi, that looks really good. Have you any pictures of the hitop from outside. when did you get the hitop fitted?
2005 85ps t280 swb camper, chrome door handles, outside temp gauge and clock and auxiliary 12volt socket. Colour coded bumpers & door mirrors, Mondeo glasses holder. Auto dim rear view mirror. Vantunered :D . 2012 Transit Trend in Panther Black
