Also depends on the size of your battery I have one good quality 120ah Leisure battery with the solar I have been out for 3-4 days with fridge, tv and stereo and water pump and not run out of juice, all off an 80wt panel.

We run low, wattage stuff (microwave/kettle/slow cooker/toaster/eberspacher and compressor coolbox from 3x100ah leisure batteries charged by a, durite voltage sensing split charger and 2x 100w solar panels on the roof.

Never run short of power yet though the solar does little at this time of year.

Weight is fine as was, originally a, Balfour Beatty mess bus (insides weighed a ton BUT have been stripped out an replaced with a basic sleeping platform/storage etc)

I've cured the dirty roof..... by fitting a roof box lol

260 watts and 8.6 amps don't tie up.

Okaaay so it looks like I was looking at way more than what I'm going to need. I'm only planning on running a fridge to be honest and a few sockets for charging my phone and laptop off a couple of 125ah batteries. It sounds as though a 100ish watt panel will do me :) think I just got carried away when I saw the deal online! Thanks a lot for all of your help guys!

Yeah, really easy to get over excited and sucked in by a "twice as big for half the price" deal.
