I too would be a little concerned about putting such a large and heavy panel on the roof.
There are two schools of thought here. Large Wattage panel and a cheap PWM controller, or smaller panel with a more expensive MPPT controller.
The PWM controller burns off excess power so has low efficiency, hence the need for a bigger panel.
A MPPT controller is far more efficient, and delivers maximum power to the battery, so you don't need as big a panel.
Heck, if you are not running a fridge and don't have electric heaters you should be able to use a cheap small panel and a cheap PWM controller.
If you've got LED lights, are careful with your fridge and are not running heaters or a mahoosive stereo and TV, you really don't need much more than 100W unless you intend to live off-grid with no hook up.
