OKIES, not a Tranny -sorry
BUT
glass window in side door, will silkaflex (or what ever its called) be OK to fit one in??

ALso any idea if a Transit side window will fit into a 2005 Relay? .. surely they're pretty much a flat plate just possibly different sizes??

and will a glazing company sell toughened glass suitable ??

Just trying to get as much info as I can

I very much doubt whether you can get suitable vehicle glass from a glazing company, building glass is a completely different animal.

You want proper tinted vehicle glass, something like this:

I can't recommend using a window from a Transit unless it just happens to be the same size and the same curvature - which I doubt. It could cause a world of grief.

Yes the Sikaflex glass bonding sealant is what you want. There are other products like Tiger Seal as well.

wasn't sure if Toughened glass (a-la) glass tv units would be similar to side glazing in a van..

BTW mine is the 2000-2006 Relay, but cheers for the link
