Mk8 conversion

Postby Tipperolly » Fri Nov 03, 2017 11:15 am

Hey guys well, after ripping front bumper of my brand new t6 at motocross recently I've decided to up grade my current mk8 work van and convert the old one into a day van for me and my son, it's a l2h2 so not loads of head room but I can still stand up straight, just! Lol

Couple of questions, do the custom alloys fit the mark 8? And will they be strong enough to carry the weight of the van?,
And are there any body kits available? Nothing crazy but would be cool to have a rear spoiler and maybe a front splitter!

I will be doing the conversion myself and can't wait to get started but will have to wait till the new year,so plan on buying bits here and there to get the build going when I'm ready,

There aren't many Mk8 owners on this section as far as I know - most of us have Mk7s or earlier, so I suggest you ask the wheels, body kit or any other Mk8 specific questions in the Mk8 section of the forum. You will almost certainly get more help in there and use this section of the forum to ask your conversion related questions.

I know the Custom wheels will not fit on a MK7, but don't know if they are a fit on a Mk8 or not. I doubt that they would be suitably load rated though.
