i am considering buying a another tranny van for a camper. I am thinking about using either a lwb or a jumbo lwb mk6 high roof. I have heard a few horror stories of the high bhp jumbos but what are peoples views on them compared to the lower bhp ones. Either single wheel or twin wheel, advantages / disadvantages??. Are they all diesels or are there any with a V6 in? Which would be the better engine to go for? i was thinking the tddi rather than the tdci. what are peoples views?

thanks

pat

What horror stories have you heard? Main issue with Jumbos is that they're usually well underpowered for the size of them.

Our 90/350 MK6 isn't underpowered BUT it is undergeared on the motorway....
that said on the hilly areas we usually visit, it's great as you are not up and down the gearbox all the time.
