Query on interior wood cladding materials

Postby poindexter » Thu Apr 20, 2023 6:49 pm

Hey forum, just a quick question to see what the best options are here for the wall cladding on my Transit camper.

I am looking for tongue and groove wooden panels to clad the interior. I am trying to keep the conversation as lightweight as possible as well as preserve usable space inside the van so am also looking for a nice thin tongue and groove option.

Any suggests on what will work best here please?

Many thanks

Why not try white plastic soffit board? No need to paint or varnish. Easy to clean.

Similar products are available at most good building merchants.

I went for thin plywood and carpet lined it warm to the touch and very light weight one of my early conversations I varnished the plywood and it did tend to sweat up at night with condensation in winter.
