holdsworth used to do conversions on transits back along but are no-longer in business.
we have a mk2 transit which thanks to this site has been identified as a holdsworth hi-flyer and after looking all over the internet and speaking to people we have been unable to find any other owners so do any of you know anyone who has one???

Just looked at your thread
What a crackin' unusual classic, mate 8) 8) :D I love seeing rare "normal folks" classics as for me they are far more interesting than some shiney Bently. What's it like chassis/mechanically :?:

bloomin great mate..
runs brill, some rust but nothing like you see on most that are about.we have ground it all out as best we can and filled, fibreglassed and then painted.ripped out all the inside as another of our thread shows and replaced everything but the original fixtures/fittings and what have you so although we have never done this before it should be in very good order for a while to come and i dont think we have spent much more than a few hundred pounds on it.
best thing is it seems to be one of the last of its kind.

Hi

Dont know if you'll ever see this post as yours was years ago...we just bought a 1987 MK3 Transit Holdsworth, ours has the single lift-up boot rather than twin rear doors but the inside looks the same.
