heres what i got done today ;)
hiding behind the bumper

so i cut it out

welded in some new metal and grinded it in

rustproofed it

some bodyfiller ill rub it down tomorrow

i really need to get myself a mig welder arc is a nightmare on bodywork! :x

Nice job 8) Did you re-create the inner part of the box there too? Was wondering myself how to do it, but I've decided to create the whole box. Is the inner panel not needed there? :? Or have I missed something?

took the back bumber ,towbar and spare wheel out today and found this :x

are these fcukd parts replaceable :( the outer part where the jack handle goes in is still solid but behind it pfft could poke my finger through are the inner and outer part one piece or 2 i thought it looked like 2 but need second opinion and the next cross member is knackerd too :cry: didnt realize it was this far gone but if i can get these parts ill tackle it ,dont usually let thing beat me so hope i can get these parts on the cheap the inner sills are knackerd too didnt post a pic

feel a bit better after looking through there biker ,need to get myself a mig im not gonna get through that easy with my arc welder :roll:

I've got a wee mig if you want to borrow it. You'll need to buy gas and wire but it's there if ya want a shot mate :)
Also the bloke that helped me might be able to do some welding for you if you think you need a hand with it :?

sounds good m8 im gonna try n get myself one anyway cause im always welding my arc welder cost me 40 quid about 13 years ago and its still going but i noticed it overheats faster than it used to so might not have much life left in it but ill let you know how i get on :)

got a mig welder yesterday but the wire keeps sticking the spool looks in bad shape and a bit rusty i take it this would make it stick ,and also its a gas mig can i use it without gas? like the gas/gasless ones?

a wee update,got a start on the rear arch today

forgot to take a pic of the old one cut oot
clamped up

then tacked it in a bit

half welded

got half of it welded and gas and wire ran out ,and off course the usual started rainin :x
