fuel filter 1/4 full on removal WHY???

ENGINE LACKS POWER ,TOOK MY FILTER OFF MY TRANSIT 2.4 DURATORQ 90PS AND NOTICED IT WAS ONLY 1/4 FULL, CLEANED AND CHECKED IT REFILLED FILTER COMPLETELY WITH DIESEL FITTED IT STARTED STRAIGHT AWAY RAN FOR 10 MINS SWITCHED OFF ENGINE TOOK OFF FILTER SAME THING DIESEL IN FILTER ONLY 1/4 FULL. CAN ANY ONE EXPLAIN WHY THIS IS HAPPENING.. :!:

some kind off pump problem may be never heard of 1/4 FULL FILTER unless you have a blockage try blowing the fuel line back to the tank

is it so that when you take off the filter to check or change, it should be full to the top with diesel

Hello Luke and Karl does the filter always remain full at al ltimes

I don't have eyes in a fuel filter :lol: :lol: but when I change filter they are always full even paper filter housings they are always full until i take old one out :!:
