Hi all, I'm Bob, been in and out of Transits since I was 21 but now I finally have one for leisure rather than work, after a few years of junky cars and ridiculous fuel consumption cars Mrs Bob turned round to me and said "we should get a van as an everyday vehicle, it'd be much better for chucking the bikes in and fishing" No need to tell me twice! (But it HAS to be a Transit)
Now, being on the Isle of Wight and on a budget buying a van isn't that easy After viewing several Transits of different shapes and sizes we found a nice wee low roof swb Smiley
Given the cost of getting vehicles over 2.2m high on the ferries and height restrictions on car parks we regularly use it made sense to sacrifice the headroom.
So here she is, 1999 low roof swb ex BT Smiley, quite straight shape, rear doors are "in need of attention"
She was on 110k miles when we got her a month ago and we've done nearly 1000 miles since (which is pretty good going considering the Isle of Wight is only 16 x 22 miles)
A quick pic from earlier, will do better over the weekend
