I'm into all kinds of things. At present, I'm restoring a car, renovating a house as well as its garden. Even do a bit of gigging from time to time as well.
A short time ago, I was offered a mk7 freebie. Its a lhd 85T260. Unusually(?) it has a tailgate rather than rear doors, and has 12500 km on the speedo. As wiil be understood from the price, even if it still does have a ticket on it, its been standing for quite a while, and needs a bit of work. The rear brakes are binding, handbrake doesnt work, and theres a judder on the steering. Added to that, theres an oil leak somewhere under the front, an engine rattle when cold, and of course a bit of rust. In other words, I've got my work cut out for a while.
With some luck, I'll be able to start working on it early next week, and then the questions will start!
