Hello everyone!
My name is Jay and I have just joined the forum although I've been using google searches for ages that have linked to this site several times. I have to say the wealth of knowledge and skill here really does make me feel very comfortable owning my Transit. I have sold my older 2010 MK7 Jumbo 100 T350 and bought a newer 2012 MK7 MWB 125 T350 Trend. I owned my Jumbo for 5 years before I sold it last year and have owned my MWB for about a year and a half. I will put some pics up once I wash the van, but at the moment it does look like a regular MWB MR MK7 Transit lol. I've literally gotten to know Martyn from Van Tuner through reading various threads on this site and been harassing him a little lately with various questions about my van. Even though I've never met him; sent some long messages to his phone with various questions and he's been a gentleman and not reported me as a stalker lol. Also sent me some Van Tuner stickers that I've proudly stuck on to the van even though he hasn't even had his way with it yet lol. I know! What a sado! I've been so happy with this forum that I've even ordered some Ford Transit Forum stickers from that tees n china thing. YES I KNOW I'm stickering up my van and no one even knows me here lol, but I KNOW SOME OF YOU ahaha lol just from reading lots of threads.
I also love the idea that you guys come together for the charity fundraising builds. What a fantastic idea! The Six Wheeler Transit - a sight to behold! Everyone involved should be so proud!
Like I said I'm astonished at the wealth of knowledge and skill on this site and looking through the progress threads and galleries is a real treat and has taught me so much! My van will never be one of those vans where I've pushed the limits of engineering and what not to the extreme like some people here, not by any means. In fact I've hardly done anything to it, but I will upload a couple of pics when I've washed it. Hopefully when I do get around to doing some little mods I'll upload a few pics.
Thank You
Jay
