Hi guys, I'm rick and proud owner of a 56 reg tdci 75 transit connect!
Got it 2 weeks ago on bank hol Monday with 12 months mot and pretty pleased with it so far apart from one minor issue.
Battery light is on (I knew this on test drive and knocked the guy down £300) I'd already done a little research before looking at connects and knew it was a common fault. The alternator seems to be charging fine and the battery holds its charge so I'm putting it down to the harness.
On that note, does that fault normally cause the dials to drop off and also the backlight for them?
I'm hoping to get it sorted next weekend if I have time. Is it an easy DIY job?
