Hi,

Only just found this site, but then have only just bought a transit, which I have not picked up yet.

Hoping to turn an ex AA van into a suitable weekend camper.

May be an unusual choice, but I Iike the tailgate have been round Europe in the 70s in a MK1 camper with pop top roof and a tailgate. And wanted the low roof for various reasons including at my age am not going to struggle to put a kayak on a high top.

Already found the site useful to confirm the back half of the exhaust had not gone AWOL. :D

And found the ETIS link interesting, it has mine down as being Moondust Silver Metallic but it does say it was an AA van.

I am sure there will be more questions and comments when I get it home.

Sean.

Not posted for a while but I have been working on the camper, am I correct in thinking that you have to have your photos on a site like photobucket in order to post them on here?

I am on the Morris Minor Owners forum site as well and on there I can just upload from my laptop does this forum not support that?

Thanks.

Sean, if you use tapatalk app you can upload any photo you have on that device straight to the forum. A lot of members have been caught out with photobucket charging for use of their servers and therefore the pics that were linked in threads are now not there... hope this helps, and well done!

Thanks Ned.

I have given it a go now and started a Yellow Camper thread in campers and conversions.
