Dipped my toe in the water yesterday and went to look at a "Transit Custom 310 L2 Trend DCIV 125" - its a 2014 model, with 37k on the clock. I must admit I was impressed enough to look at buying it (just waiting for dealer to confirm my offer is accepted!). Its low mileage, but visually a bit of a dog (light scratches all over it) but the aesthetics can be worked on! and No VAT!!!!!
Was originally looking for (dare I say it) a VW Transporter, but I think the Custom looks better, drives as good (if not better) has more room, and is far better value for money. - no brainer really. Its been used by a cleaning company - a bit ironic for the state of it, but it should clean up to be like a new pin.
The Wife is into horses, and we have dogs, and I'm into Motorbikes so its ideal- room for 6 and room for the mess in the back! Moving over from a 06 Nissan Navara which I'm a bit reluctant to sell, but at 161000 miles (and doing 24k pa commuting) I need something I can rely on a little more, and what with the issues with Chassis the Navara are having its time to move on...
I have a raft of questions for you all, I'll add these after the introduction!
