Mk6 2.0 fwd leaking power steering

Hi tranny lovers I'm new to the tranny world I've recently purchased a mk6 with mk7 front end conversion and currently on with a camper conversion to use as a fishing bus and odd night away.ive had it on the road about a week now and more than happy with the drive for a old van but noticed a slight leak of power steering fluid on the floor after inspection its spraying on top of the starter motor all pipes look good and dry of oil I'm thinking possibly the pumps gone unless there's a more common fault to look at first seals etc... any help would be great thanks

The pas pump is above the starter, there is a gasket in the pump that broke up on mine causing it to drip fluid out the bottom I just replaced the pump and all was good. N
