Back again! Glad to have a tranny again haha

Hi lads,

after a few years driving all manner of shite vans i have returned to a transit. Bought an 08 t300 85 today from good ole bt, swb twin slidy doors and in lovely if a bit boring white. Was a bargain price with full service history but needs some rust protection. Looking for any advice on hows best to treat the rust and anyone who knows a good bodyshop/ painter in the edinburgh area. Great to be back. Rust not that bad but trying to settle in on another transit attack. Cheers

The better the painter the more expensive it gets

Cheers lads, going to pick it up tomorrow night,

first a damn good clean and see what im dealing with, needs s full clean and underseal to hold back the rust and then it will be the exterior, looking to have the front and back bumbers body coloured but may have to do thewhole front end as a fair few stone chips.

What engine oil do i go for its a 2.2 mk7? And how much?
Anyone have any good tips to repair the drivers seat at the lower back, the bar that runs across is not the comfiest and the foams definately worn out. Can i just strip the seat and add more foam?

Cheers again and good to be back
